Rainy Thoughts

The rain felt amazing. My tears were unseen. My body was numb. My mind was empty. Sitting there was the most amazing feeling in the world. Nothing went through my head. All I knew at that point was the lightning in the sky, the wind against the trees and my wet back, and the slow breaking of the clouds above. Everything went away and there were no worries running through my head. But the second I stood up, it all came rushing back.
